Spark: Intro to Bouldering

What is spark?

SPARK is a 2-hour introduction class that will teach you tips, techniques and terminology to give you a solid start in climbing. It’s also a great way to learn and build confidence on the wall and meet some new climbing friends!

Includes

  • 1.5 hours instruction time
  • 30 minutes of free climbing time and instructor feedback

Who’s SPARK for?

  • Primarily for new climbers (V0 to V3)
  • Age 16+

Spark+: Next Step in Bouldering

What is spark+?

SPARK+ is a 2-hour extended instruction time to build on your learning from SPARK! With your basic grasp of climbing technique and terminology, we can get more in-depth with advanced skills and movements. Continue to build your confidence on the wall and connect with a new climbing crew!

Who’s Spark+ for?

  • If you’ve already taken Spark, this is for you!
  • You climb V2/V3 comfortably but want to break through to V4+
  • Age 16+

  • Advanced hand/foot matching
  • Climbing on roof, slab and volumes
  • Climbing specific strength and fitness
  • Skills and movements to push your climbing further

FIRE: The Next Level in Climbing & Fitness

What is Fire?

FIRE is a 4-week program of 2-hour classes that focus on developing progressive training techniques, sport-specific strength and conditioning, and overall climbing ability taught by Coach Matt Chapman!  Each class will build upon the last, so be sure you’re able to attend all the classes to maximize results! We’ll evaluate your fitness level and climbing ability during the first class so that you can chart your training and growth throughout the course.

Includes

  • 1 hour of climbing drills and advanced technical instruction.
  • 1 hour of fitness and strength training.

Who’s Spark+ for?

  • You climb on a regular basis
  • You want to be CHALLENGED to improve your overall fitness, conditioning and climbing ability.
  • Age 16+

What you'll learn

  • Proper warm-up & injury prevention.
  • Strength building and sport-specific fitness.
  • Advanced climbing technique.
  • Stretching and recovery.
  • Team building and confidence!
